Bail Bonds in Mohave County
Mohave County Bail Bonds™ provides bail bonds to the inmates of the Mohave County Jail 7 days/week, including holidays. We specialize in service to those who live out-of-state, or don’t want to travel, and to those who prefer the convenience of paying the entire bail amount/fee with a credit card, wired funds or bank deposit rather than using personal property for collateral.
Our transactions can be handled over the phone with paperwork delivered by email, or fax. Securing bail bonds with cash or credit cards is fast and easy and when the case is over your bail amount is refunded to you (the fee is non-refundable).
How do Kingman Bail Bonds Work?
A bail bond is a financial guarantee provided to the court allowing the defendant to be released from jail. Once bail is posted, a defendant is free to conduct their day-to-day activities while they await trial. When the case is over and the bond has been exonerated, the bond is returned to the party who posted it. If a defendant fails to go to their hearings, the bail bond would be forfeited.
How do I buy a Bail Bond?
In order to buy Mohave County bail bonds, you must provide two things, cash to purchase the bond and collateral for security. Collateral may be cash, or real estate, that must be equal in value to the bond. However, bonds under $10,000 must be paid in full, while bonds with bonds that are $10,000 and larger we can accept cash, or real estate for collateral.
Bonds under $10,000
Mohave County Bail Bonds will only accept cash, or cash equivalent (credit card charge, bank deposit, wired funds, Zelle) for collateral on bonds under $10,000. We do not take property for collateral security on bonds under $10,000. This means the entire bail amount and fees would need to be paid in full. We will act as your agent in posting the bond at the court, or jail. The benefit of having us post your bond for you is you won’t need to travel, which is convenient for clients that live out of area or out-of-state. We have the power to rearrest the defendant if you decide you no longer want to them out on bail, or if they fail to appear for a hearing. We also will ensure that your bail amount is returned to you upon exoneration of the bond; our fees are non-refundable.
Bonds $10,000 or Larger
Real estate, or cash may be used to meet the collateral requirements for Mohave County bail bonds that are $10,000, or larger. Real estate must be a frame-built home. Under some circumstances we may accept a free and clear mobile/modular home affixed on it’s own lot; location, value, and appearance are deciding factors.
